Since 1938, families from Mississippi have been enjoying Clarkco State Park - and when you visit you'll be bale to see why! These 815 acres which stretch out across beautiful rolling woodlands gives families water sports, nature, wildlife, and camping - perfect for that afternoon or even weekend away if you want to enjoy each others company for a bit longer!

There is so much to do! Hot summers day? Then head to Clarkco lake where there is a boat launch so you can take your boat out for the day of an afternoon of relaxation, or sit along the banks enjoy some fishing. You might even want to try a spot of water skiing! Got little kids? Good thing that Clarkco State Park also has a zero depth Splash Pad for them to play about in and cool off - just like the big kids would be doing!

There are playgrounds for those active kids to run around and climb on - if the 815 acres isn't enough to tire them out! Playing fields are great if you want to bring some balls and bats down and have a few hits and catches, and tennis courts are available for a few games!

You're in a beautiful state park, so you should explore the area! There are nature trails for you to take to, so you can really try and spot all the local wildlife - don't forget your camera! With picnic pavilions for those relaxing family lunches, and disc golf which is a fun and unique way to have a round of golf, you probably will be considering extending your family day out to a weekend! 

If that's the case - Clarkco State Park has you covered! With 42 camping sites, and 15 tent sites, and even 20 cabins to choose from (and a vacation cottage!) you can stay as little or as long as you like!
