Ready for an outdoor adventure with the family? Chimney Rock Campground is a great option as it's located with in the extreme NW Iowa, and right along the beautiful Upper Iowa River.

Perfect that having a relaxing, rustic country experience together.

When you settle down for the night, it can be at either their tent and RV sites, or cabins which sleep six. The cabins have electricity, as well as a full four-burner stove with oven, fridge, and a sink. Make sure you bring your own bedding.

There is plenty of space for tents and RV hook ups too. 

There is a shower and rec room facility for you to shower up in after a long day out on the river!

Ready to hear about all the adventures you can have!? Of course you are! They are open all year round so no need to restrict your holidays to the summer! Fall and winter can be just as beautiful and refreshing.

They are completely geared up for anglers (for trout and bass) as well as hunters (deer and turkey), and of course nature lovers! There is hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling (see - who said there's nothing to do outdoors in the winter months!?)

And of course - there's the river! There is 110 miles of canoe-able river from Lime Springs to the Mississippi, which is divided into natural segments based on the scenery, including incrediblt 200 foot Lime Stone Bluffs! You will see waterfalls, mud swallows, and a host of wildlife including eagles!

Chimney Rock Campground offer canoe, kayak and tube rental - they can help plan your trip and they offer free shuttle service!

Chimney Rock Campground FAQ’s

Nature is what there is to do! They have kayaking, canoeing, and tubing, as well as fishing, hunting, and hiking trails.

They have cabins that sleep 6 - 12 people, as well as space for tents and RVs. Cabins have a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster as well as all you need to cook! All cabins are heated and have air con too.

All boat rentals come with life jackets and paddles. They have private livery available for $10.
