On a whim I decided to take my 2 year old son to the museum for some fun. On first arriving I was greeted immediately and we whisked off for lots of fun. I couldn’t believe how many activities there for my Jackson to play. We even painted our own ceiling tile for the museum to display. This was a wonderful chances for me and Jackson to have bonding time. Side Note:Bring drinks and wet wipes since a lot of activities are messy.

Don’t go here. It really was an overpiced day care. Save the money and go somewhere else. 9 dollars per person to blow bubbles and color on paper is a rip off. My 7 year old was bored the moment we got there. She asked to leave within 5 minutes of being there. You have been warned.

I’ve lived in Myrtle Beach for almost 13 years and have 5 kids. All those years, we’ve visited the Children’s Museum and we have been members on and off, depending on what else was going on in our lives. We still visit often as our youngest is 7. We love the staff, the programs and the exhibits. Elfworks was an awesome addition this holiday season! Great for a morning or afternoon play date.

Extremely disapointing. We plan vacations near places with childrens museums and have seen many. Just like prior reviews this place is like a kids day care but the random displays and low educational value and lack of real hands on display makes me feel ripped off and we went for free! Kids can learn more from reading curious george rides a bike. The person that said this place was great must work there or have some biasesness or agenda because to say this 3 room “museum” (still can’t believe they refer to this place with that word) is anything but a waste of time is a misrepresentation of the truth.

You have to be kidding me, this is a museum? Go to McWayne Center in Birmingham to see a hands on childrens museum. We found informaiton on this at the hotel and online when we arrived in Myrtle Beach. Upon arrival, there was some question in our mind as to the quality versus size ratio standing outside. Now that we have been there, I would have to say that the quality versus price ratio is certainly way off base. This was not worth the time and money invested for us.
