It's always SO much fun to play, isn't it? So what if we told you there was a place that is dedicated to kids having just that - FUN!
The Children's Museum of Richmond was created to provide kids and their families a place where they could play together, every day! It also just so happens that this museum is also dedicated to kids learning too! It can't get much better than that!
The Children's Museum of Richmond is filled with exhibits that each teach kids something new and different. They encourage natural and spontaneous play, where they can learn all about the world around them.
The exhibits build on what is familiar, and then allow kids to make new connections. Kids can discover, problem solve, be creative, and use their imagination!
Kids can spend the day exploring the Children's Garden, or playing in the super fun Playhouse. They can visit the Town Square, or play in the Dairy Barn. There is SO much to do!
Ever seen a museum with a carousel in it? You have now! They can get their fingers messy in the Art Studio, or enjoy "dinner" in their very own Silver Diner.
If you have little ones under 3, the Little Farm is perfect for them, as there is a space for free body movements, as well as a host of sensory activities.
Kids can pretend to be teachers, or doctors, or even work in a garage.
Those up to 8 years too will get a host of fun playing outside in the Backyard Exhibit, with sand, water and even musical instruments.
Museums have never been so fun! So grab those active minds and bodies, and head to the Children's Museum of Richmond!
