About this activity

Chicago Children's Museum is where kids can enjoy fun indoor play with a host of experiences and activities that allow them to play, create, learn, experience & develop key skills, and let those imaginations run wild!

Kids can step into the boots of a firefighters complete with authentic gear, and slide down the pole to the fire truck, and pretend to be brave firefighters in the city!

Creative kids can express themselves in the Art Studio where open-ended activities can allow them to explore their artistic side, and they even offer drop-in programs and workshops for those who want to explore a little more deeply!

Great for those little ones under 5 years is Kids Town, where they can shop in a grocery store, wash the car, change a tyre, and drive a CTA bus, all in a kiddie sized town, and future construction workers can take the Skyscraper Challenge and see who can build their own one-of-a-kind structure!

Did we mention there were dinosaurs at the Chicago Children's Museum too? You can dig in a re-creation of the real Saharan expedition and see a life-size skeleton of a dinosaur, plus dig for bones!

Rev those engines in the Zoom Room where kids can be in the drivers seat as toy cars hurtle through curves, and dips, all on a multi level race course, and of course what would a children's museum be without water play! Make a splash in a flowing, squirting and pumping playground!

With so much hands-on fun to enjoy for kids, could it be possible to have TOO much fun? There is only one way to find out!

Kids - let's PLAY!
