I have been bringing my car to Meineke for four years and I have to say, they are honest and listen when I tell them what’s going on with my car. I’ve had simple oil changes and actually had to do a few repairs. What I like most about them is I never feel pressured to have work done. The let me know a few things that I needed to do, and then helped me prioritize which should be done first and then I was able to afford to keep my car in great shape. The mechanics are friendly and I won’t take my car anywhere else. I’m home at Meineke on Broadway and Dobson!!!!

I was visiting from out of town and took my car to Meineke for a break job and received the worst service imaginable. On their website, it says that they they specialize in brakes, which is a total joke. Besides the 5 hour wait to complete the job, they put the brake pads on backwards! I did not know of this incompetence until I took the vehicle back the next day because the brake pedal went to the floor when I tried to stop. On the return visit, no apology or discount was given (not that I was looking for one). After they “fixed” the problem, the brake pedal still went to the floor. I took the car to Advanced Auto Care, where they acted like true professionals. They informed me that the company that did the brakes totally messed up the calipers when pushing the piston in. After repairing the calipers that Meineke damaged, the car was good as new. I called the manager of Meineke and expressed my displeasure with the service and was told to “F*** off.” Avoid this business at all costs. Total disregard for common courtesy and car knowledge.

I brought my car to Meineke as I was test driving it. It was a used car and I wanted to know if I should purchase it. I explained to the receptionist what I needed went and told the manager. I was really scared to buy this car because although it was used, it was the most expensive car I had ever purchased. The manager took my keys and told me he would check it out personally as he could see I was really stressing out. He asked me to come outside and he showed me a few things that were going to need repair eventually. I went back and negotiated a great deal on a good car. After my purchase, I went back to Meineke and thanked the manager and then had them change my oil. I’ve had my car for a good little while now and i’ve been back twice now for oil changes. The same manger is still there and remembered me. He told me we could work out a plan to get the repairs needed and prioritize them so I didn’t have to do everything at once. The first repair was the rack-n-pinon (don’t know if that’s spelled right or not?) and it made a huge difference in the steering of my car. I haven’t ever felt pressured to do ANY of the work needed., but they made me aware, and gave me a plan of attack, and made me feel like family. I have told all my friends and family to bring their cars to them, excellent service and a nice atmosphere!!DT

The supposid owner cancelled my appointment due to weather and didn’t even have the decency to call me about it. When I showed up, he unapologetically told me the store was closed then laughed at me when I expected a phone call for my cancelled appointment. After reading past reviews I was hesitant to come to this place, and with management like that it’s no surprise this place is a shithole. I will definitely be filing a complaint with their corporate office because this display of unprofessionalism should not be tolerated.

They are dishonest. We knew our van needed new brake pads and rotors. When we saw a sign advertising 50% off of brakes we called to check out what the final price would be. The receptionist told me that it would $380.95 for the brakes and rotors. I clarified that this was the price for ALL FOUR WHEELS, and she said “yes.” I was pretty happy about that because the parts alone at Auto Zone were over $200 so that seemed fair. My husband dropped the van off the next morning and the same woman was there. She again quoted him $380.95 for pads and rotors on all four wheels. They then called us an hour later and said that it was actually going to cost $690. The technician said that $380 was only the cost for the front two break pads and rotors. We picked up the car and will not be using them. They deliberately tried to trick us on the price!
