What is there to do?

Las Vegas is full of unusual and fascinating experiences, and the National Atomic Testing Museum is one of them!

This unusual museum has over 12,000 unique artifacts in it's permanent collection that tell the history of the development and testing of one of human's most significant inventions - the nuclear bomb.

Throughout the exhibits, the museum features many not seen before, first-person narratives, large iconic artifacts, environmental re-creations, theatrical devices, and interactive elements for personal exploration.

You can explore the development of the bomb, and how man came to make the first atomic bomb. There's an underground testing exhibit where kids can see the technology and science that took nuclear testing underground, or you can discover how natural and man-made radiation is tracked, monitored and measured.

There is even an exhibit where you can learn how to survive an atomic blast, and a theatrical experiences where you can feel a simulated atmospheric bomb blast.

A museum with a difference that's for sure!

Then you have the collection, that make up one of the most comprehensive collections of nuclear history.

A Las Vegas museum offering an insight into a part of history that you might not have considered exploring before a visit to this great city, the National Atomic Testing Museum is best for older kids who love to learn!
