Apache Family Campground & Pier has been giving families happy memories for over 35 years, so why not add to the memories that have been created!

This family friendly campground in South Carolina is the perfect beachside getaway for the family! They are RIGHT by that grand Atlantic Ocean, and the large white-sand beach is always a draw card! You can enjoy the live music on the pier, or relax with that ocean breeze as you light up that grill.

The Apache Family Campground are right near the Apache Pier, which is open 365 days a year. This is one of the most popular places that you can spend your days. They have amazing sunrises, and it's the perfect place to enjoy some fishing if that is what your family love.

Maybe you want to just take a stroll over the Atlantic Ocean? Why not - it's right there!

Over summer, the Apache Pier has live entertainment, from dancing to karaoke so get ready to have a pretty awesome time! 

There are attractions for all ages, and a host of restaurants in the area for you to enjoy. 

The campsite itself has some pretty fun seasonal activities for you too! They have kids activities like tie-dye crafts, and even fishing tournaments. Those little ones have to start somewhere - you never know, they might leave champion! There are pool games and even fish frys too. If you're there across the holidays you might want to keep an eye out for their holiday parties and special events too! 

The Apache Family Campground & Pier is no trouble for what you will be camping in. If you have a big rig, don't you worry - Hwy 22 ends just two miles from the main entrance so getting it in and our is no trouble at all. 

A great family friendly camping experience that chances are you will want to keep going back to!

North Directions :


Take Hwy 9 to U.S. 17 South. From U.S. 17 South, just past the entrance to Colonial Mall, turn left onto Kings Road. Apache is 1.5 miles on the left.

South Directions :
Take either the 17 Bypass or 17 Business (Kingshighway) north. Dixie Stampede and the Carolina Opry are situated at the point where the two join together. Turn right at the first light past that point onto Lake Arrowhead Road, go to the first light on Arrowhead (Kings Road). Apache's south entrance is at this intersection.

West Directions :
Take 501 to Highway 22 East (entrance to this road is just east of Aynor) to the Kings Road exit. Turn right. Apache is 1.5 miles on the left. OR Take 501 to Highway 31 North (entrance to this road is just east of Conway) to Hwy 22 to the Kings Road exit. Apache is 1.5 miles on the left. Get directions

What ISN'T THERE TO DO!? There is the ocean, fishing, and that incredible pier with live entertainment during the summer seasons. There are kids activities like arts and crafts, shows, dancing, music, and video games! The entertainment is family friendly and certainly plentiful that it will make you realize you might have to head back for more!

Croakers at the Pier is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You'll find fresh local shrimp, sandwiches, salads, burgers and more as well as a full bar. Dine indoors or on the covered deck, overlooking the Atlantic. Croakers also has a snack bar on the pier, which offers hot dogs, sodas, bottled water, beer and wine. The Trading Post on site also has ice cream!

Check the different sites before you book - from shady areas to water front - you can pick what suits you best!

They take great pride in our facilities at the oceanfront Apache Family Campground.
At the entrance to the pier there is a bait and tackle shop, and a brilliant gaming arcade. There is a swimming pool, playground, basketball courts and horseshoe pits too. You can pick up convenience items in the Apache Trading Post.
