In fact, it can say it has give more family fun than the other zoos in the region, because it's the OLDEST zoo in the southwest of the USA - which means more time to create those amazing memories!

The zoo was established back in 1898, so not only are your kids having a day filled with nature, but a little bit of a history lesson too!

Alameda Park Zoo is a place where kids can explore those beautiful creatures of the world close up, in a naturalistic environment. Here, you can get face to face with the weird and the wonderful, and of course those zoo favorites.

The zoo feels strongly about conservation of animals and preservation of the environment too, so its the perfect place for kids to learn this invaluable lesson!

With 12 acres to explore, and over 250 exotic creatures, it still gives kids a great zoo experience! There are water creatures to explore, such as the playful sea lions, and colorful birds to admire.

Don't miss those big cat exhibits either - they are always fun to say hi to up close!

So why not get out and explore the beautiful animals of the world, because here, they come to New Mexico, and they are there just for YOU!
