The Sam Weller Museum will allow you to experience the rich and diverse history of The Pas and the strange curiosities collected by the founder Sam Waller. Drop in and explore the the exhibits and services and enjoy a day out at the museum with the whole family.
The main gallery features the permanent exhibit showcasing the rich history of The Pas and area. You'll see geological formations, through to First Nations history, the Metis histor, mission period and industrial age of the last century, plus lots more!
Sam's Gallery features a range of eclectic collectibles that made the founder's immense and quirk collection so interested! Featuring a two-headed calf, five pairs of dressed fleas and lots more to explore on the way.
The Susan Maccharles Gallery is dedicated to the memory of a long time museum volunteer and displays both in house and travelling museum exhibits, as well as visual art shows and exhibits too. The Discovery Centre is the only room in the museum where children can touch everything! In the hands-on learning and fun centre, you'll explore natural history items and activities in a forest setting, featuring a mural activity wall too.
