The Music Barn is possibly the best music store in the Triad area. It’s a locally run business and has a knowledgeable staff with an easy-going attitude. I wanted to write a review because over 10 years ago, I spent a lot of money there and they matched prices for me more than once at a time when other places wouldn’t. I wanted a deal and they were cool to work with me and treated me with respect and good customer service. They have a large selection both there and off-site, so if you ask them, they can tell you more about their stock.

Great place … Come by for friendly staff. They sell what you neede instead of what they want you to have…

I visited the Music Barn and was impressed with the selection of acoustic guitars. They gave me enough help and attention without being pesky, and they were very helpful when I asked, so I bought an amazing guitar at hundreds below retail. They also threw in a hardshell case. I had traveled 800 miles on the way to Greensboro and I played dozens of guitars at various places. The Blue Ridge acoustic I found there was hands-down the best instrument I played, even when compared to guitars costing three times as much. Nice to see a family owned store still in existence. These are nice folks who treated me well, and I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. Much better than the average retail experience.Thank you Music Barn!Ben Watkins (The guy that bought the BR-40 on New Year’s Eve)

I took my amp here to get it fixed… I paid $40, then the exact same thing happened, and I took it back and it cost me $60 the second time. After ten minutes of playing the amp, it broke again a third time, the guy who “fixes” amplifiers is a joke. You are MUCH BETTER OFF going the extra 2 miles and driving down to the Guitar Center where they have PROFESSIONALS, not guys off the street messing with your stuff!!! (Also, all the products are overpriced).
