Sackville Waterfowl Park is not only a beautiful place to visit, with amazing wildlife, but it's also FREE, so we love it even more! Sackville Waterfowl Park is an award-winning park, which is filled with great experiences for the whole family, especially those who just love the great outdoors and nature!

In fact, there are 55 amazing acres to explore!

Get those walking shoes on, because there are 3.5km of accessible boardwalks and trails, where you can really get into the park to explore. There is even a section of the Trans-Canada Trail that you can experience!

Do you have binoculars? You just might need them when you realise there are 160 bird species - do you think you will be able to find them all!

Sackville Waterfowl Park has 200 species of plants, and even guided tours from May to August, so if you really want to enjoy a learning experience with your park day out, that's the way to go!

The tour is 90 minutes and takes you on a journey through historic settlements, wildlife, and kids can even enjoy hands-on activities!

Sackville Waterfowl Park is a wetland world under your feet, and the Visitor Information Centre is the perfect place to start. Here, you can learn all about the park itself, the trails, and the best spots for what you want to see.

They love to support the environment, so there is an electric vehicle recharging station there!

It's best to book ahead for the tours. You can join as a walk in, but only if there is space. The departure point is the information centre. The visitor centre is closed January to April
