About this activity

If you are an active family, then Red Deer Mountain Bike Park might just be for you! Whether you like taking a peaceful walk, bird watching, or trying out your latest tricks on your mountain bikes, this Alberta park could just be for you!

At Red Deer Mountain Bike Park, there are large areas perfect for cross country single track biking, as well as dirt jumps to try those super cool tricks, as well as free-ride stunts - in designated areas only.

After all - it IS a mountain bike park!

But it's not just biking that this park is great for. Biking, hiking, jogging, bird watching, picnics and peaceful walks can all be enjoyed within the Waskasoo Park trail system, crossing right through this area.

Although the park trails were established and are maintained by cyclists primarily for mountain-biking, the area is public parkland open to other non-motorized, non-equestrian use such as walkers and runners. All users should stay aware, especially at blind corners, on steep down hills and at intersections.

Make sure you keep an eye out for the wildlife too - you never know what you might spot!

So grab those walking shoes, and binoculars, and most important - those bikes - and let's enjoy an active day out in the Alberta sunshine!
