Musee D Art Contemporain De Montreal offers a varied program ranging from presentations of its Permanent Collection to exhibitions of works by Quebec, Canadian and international artists. The Permanent Collection comprises some 7,000 works, including the largest collection of art by Paul-Emile Borduas.

the team at the museum will guide and unleash your artisitic discovery by sharing their passion with you! With immersive and captivating exhibitions, the museum offers lots of creative workshops for all ages, as well as guided tours. The En famille at the MAC will give you the chance to spend quality time appreciating art with the whole family. It'll feature art viewing and plastic expression activities which will help expand your artistic horizons. You'll also find lots of educational programs for schools and adults of all ages. 

Some of the programs include Imprint of Time which explores the effects of time on people and things including a selecton of video works and sculptures from the collections and will be a great starting point for a creative workshop. 

The Chromatic Resonance is two video installisations by artist Nelson Henricks and will immerse you in a sensory experience that combines colours and sounds!

Take part in creative workshops experimenting with roller-paint and fast-paced compositions!

Grab something to eat in the local area, there are plenty of options!

Free first Sunday of the month for Quebec residents, with proof of residence, and the museum is free for Canoo subscribers.

They love having groups visit and the museum is a great way for students to immerse themselves in all things art! The Education team offers art workshops and interactive tours intended for school groups.

These activities are designed for all age groups and suit the needs of elementary and secondary school students.

The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal welcomes everyone, and features a number of accessible entrances. Wheelchairs are available at the main cloakroom on a first come, first serve basis.

Guide dogs and service dogs are also welcome.

From Thursday to Sunday they offer tours and meditations, included in the admission!
