Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm in Ontario LOVES giving children an educational, and of course fun, farm experience. All of the animals at the farm have been raised as babies, or been rescued and brought back to health in a very loving environment.
They also have regular vet visits so you know the animals are well looked after!
Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm started because the lovely owners felt there was a need to help and rescue farm animals. They began offering a therapeutic setting for children and adults alike with special needs. And 11 years later they are still going! What an amazing story!
Every animal gets lots of hugs and treats, so kids will love seeing them well looked after. They offer tours for families just like you so they can keep funding their farm - another great reason to visit!
During your time on this very sweet Land O'Lakes Rescue Petting Farm, kids can learn all about the animals, and how to care for them! They can even get hands on an pat them, and of course feed them too!
There are guided tours available in case you want to learn that little bit more, but there are always loving staff members on hand to answer your questions too!
For a bit more fun, why not spend some time on the children's play ground area - it's great to use up all of that energy that we know those kids have!
