High Park also features playgrounds for kids where they can play until their heart's content, as well as picnic areas to enjoy that homemade lunch, and plenty of fun wildlife to spot! (Keep an eye out for those squirrels!)

Yes, we mentioned there is a zoo! The zoo inside High Park in Toronto is located on Deer Pen Road and is accessible via the Parkside Road entrance. It's here you can come face to face with bison, deer, llamas, peacocks, and even highland cattle!
It's here you can enjoy some history too, as High Park's zoo actually dates back to the early 1900s when deer were kept inside the park!
Then, you have what could possibly be the largest outdoor playground in the province! We're talking about Jamie Bell Adventure Park and kids, you'll be happy to know an ice cream truck is often found close by on hot days!
Don't miss exploring the wonderful landscapes at High Park too - there is nothing quite like spending the day in nature! You'll find Grenadier Pond on the west, and on the north side of the pond you'll find some swamp-like landscapes and here you can spot lots of frogs leaping around!
