False Creek ferries is the original ferry service.The fleet consists of ten vessels, including four 20-passenger diesel powered supermini ferries, and routes extend from the Maritime Museum in Kitsilano to Science World and the Main Street Skytrain station.
It's been serving Vancouver for 40 years and there are lots of dock locations and sightseeing cruises to enjoy. The boats offers a unique ride with beautful views of the city, with the operators offering some interesting facts along the way! Enjoy a 20 minute min-cruise which is great for families with small children. The sights include Sunset Beachm North Shore mountained, West End skyline and Heritage Harbour. The 40 minute cruise is for those wanting to take much more of the city in and will travel to six docks on the east of Granville Bridge. You can also get an hop on hop off day pass, which makes exploring really easy! Just hop back on the ferry whenever you feel like taking a break.
The dock locations include Granville Island, Sunset Beach, West End, David Lam Park, Stamp's Landing, Spyglass Place, Yaletown, Plaza of Nations, Science World and Maritime Museum. Traveling by boat has never been easier and it makes it a wonderful experience to enjoy for all ages, whilst exploring the local attractions that Vancouver has to offer.
The main ferry docks are easy to find. If you’re coming from the West End, just walk south, to the foot of Thurlow Street. The ferry dock is located on Sunset Beach, behind the Vancouver Aquatic Centre.

Lots of places to eat once you dock!
The little blue ferries sail every 5 minutes from the West End of downtown Vancouver to Granville Island, and every 15 minutes on all other routes. At peak times, ferries sail every 2 minutes from the West End, and every 7-10 minutes on other routes.
