Exploramer Discovering the sea will allow you to enter the underwater world as you explore the basins and aquaria displaying a broad sampling of the St. Lawrence's marine organisms and fishes. Let the naturalist guide introduces you to molluscs and echinoderms... up close and personal.
There are aquariums and touch pools together that are home to more than 1,000 individuals and 60 different species! You can head on a guided tour where you'll be accompanied by a science animator and you'll discover the biodiversity of St Lawrence. Learn how to protect the species that live there by exploring the richness of the impress aquariums. You'll be able to touch the rock crab, polar starfish, whelk and many more!
The permanent exhibition A Garden Under the sea showcasing a living collection of fish and organisms. Cross the basins and aquaria which contain nearly 60 different species. You'll also find a shark exhibit where you'll learn amazing facts and a take a new look at the most feared animal of the sea. There's also lots more exhibits such as the smarter seafood exhibit where you'll learn about sustainable fisheries that will advise you on the choice of local fish and seafood in the area.
If you fancy a more hands on approach, put on a pair of waders and follow the guide along the shoreline with your feet in the water! See what's lurking below of the low tide and learn more about the animals that live there.
