About this activity

Located on the island of Montreal itself, Ecomuseum Zoo is a private, non-profit, 11.3 hectare educational wildlife park - operated by the St. Lawrence Valley Natural History Society - where the whole family can observe and study the beautiful wildlife of Quebec in their natural habitats, and mingle with the wildlife consistent with the welfare of the animals and your personal safety.

You'll be able to walk through the aviary, share space with the birds, and admire the raptors uninhibited by restrictive netting. Observe the snakes and turtles at your leisure from the ramps and platforms they provide for you!

Ecomuseuem Zoo welcomes non-releasable animals that cannot return to the wild, so they provide them with a safe and loving home! It's cenetred on environment education and the conservation of wildlife and it's natural habitats. Head out on a guided tour and the experienced guides will share their knowledge that will amaze you!

There's also mini explorers activities that are designed for the little ones, and they can enjoy a self-guided tour at their own place, with educational materials provided for them. You can even have break with the animals! This is a great chance for you to meet the animal and serve it's breakfast. You can choose between the lynx, wolves, otters, fishers or the bear!
