About this activity

Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is the world’s only national Hall of Fame dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of medical heroes. This museum contributes to a vibrant health care system by engaging Canada’s health leaders in educational programs that serve to encourage youth to pursue careers in health sciences.

Through their educational programs, they aim to encourage and inspire young people across Canada to learn more about Canada's rich medical history and to hopefully, inspire them to build an exciting career in medicine and other health sciences.

Their discovery days are one-day events that give secondary school students the opportunity to explore career options, with the programs running in partnership with universities, hospitals and research institutions across Canada. They'll be a keynote lecture, interactive workshops and a panel discussion, with the chance to interac with researchers and educators in their real-life work setting.

The museum school will allow children to learn about past and present medical heroes, meet scientists and work with the latest technology and imagine making medical discoveries.
