Willow Winds seems to be our perfect “home away from home.” We have spent two or three weeks a year at this wonderful resort with various friends from around the country for about ten years. Everyone agrees that the beauty, restfulness, staff, comfort, and location are outstanding. The cabins are lovely and have every comfort of home plus a hot tub and mountain view that is a special treat. The stock trout pond always results in a trout dinner after a leisurely time there. When we leave, we immediately start looking forward to our next visit.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Willow Winds. We couldn’t believe how quiet and peaceful it was. The cabin was great with all of the amenities. The staff was very helpful. The grounds were just amazing. I will definitely be staying there again and recommending it to anyone who will listen!

This was my second stay at Willow Winds and the second stay was even better than the first! I could almost feel the tension leave my body when I drove onto the road that leads to the cabins. Our cabin was absolutely perfect with everything we needed and things I wouldn’t have even thought of needing. The hot tub was clean (very important to me) and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of extra towels, and unlike many places I have stayed, there was plenty of dishwashing soap, dishwasher tabs, and there was even laundry detergent. I was with my mother and she enjoyed sitting out on the deck more than anything else we did in Asheville!

Great experience overall, I just wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful grounds and a private hot tub overlooking the pond made for a fantastic stay! The cabin was very nice as well, it had all the amenities of home.

A delightful place to stay – very friendly and beautiful surroundings – we stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin (Jackie’s Gem) for two nights – April 27 and 28, 2015 – would definitely stay there again.
