About this activity

If you just LOVE exploring nature, then you might love to visit Ball's Falls Conservation Area, set within the incredible Twenty Valley! Ball's Falls Conservation Area is where kids can explore the amazing nature, and spectacular scenery that is all around them!

It's a good idea to start your family day out at the Centre for Conservation where kids can immerse themselves in the interactive exhibits and area information which will help you plan the day and get the most from what you do.

It's a worthwhile stop in any case to introduce the kids to the notion of Eco Tourism too!

The Ball's Falls Conservation Area is filled with great things for active kids, including numerous hike and bike trails where you can really enjoy getting out and behind active.

For those history lovers in the family, there is something for you too! There are fascinating historic buildings to explore, with early mid 19th century family homes, operating flour mill, a church, carriage shed, and even a blacksmith shop - all from within the hamlet.

Its like you are just jumping straight into the history books, but you get to actually imagine what life was life as you walk around these amazing buildings!

A big draw for the park is the special events and seasonal offerings they provide, it's well worth checking their calendars in advance to plan your trip around them.
