About this activity

No doubt about it, Australia has some incredible wildlife. Some colourful, some wonderful. Some weird, some cute, and it's Australia - so some definitely scary!

The Wildlife Habitat is one of the country's best wildlife experiences that you can enjoy with the whole family. Kids will love really getting up close to the huge range of flora and fauna, and learning all about these incredible things we have in this country of ours.

The Rainforest Wildlife Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary is a very sweet and eye opening exhibit which is part of their Wildlife Rescue program. We love that! Here, they make sure that the injured, orphaned and sick animals and well looked after. They take small groups through the centre, and give you a fascinating look into behind the scenes of this amazing place! These tours depart daily at 1:30pm.

The Wildlife Habitat is a completely immersive experience, with an open and interactive environment for both families and animals to mingle and make friends in their spacious and natural setting. You can wander along their elevated boardwalks, and check out all the animals as they roam free (and the animals may even come and check you out!)

They have free guided tours throughout the day, which is great for kids to learn about the behaviours of the animals, their interaction, and also the role they play on our planet.

You can enjoy breakfast with the birds, lunch with the Lorikeets - there is a grassland habitat to explore with kangaroos and wallabies, and wetland habitats with cassowaries and koalas!

So much wildlife for the kids to enjoy, it really will give you a full day out for the family.

Not only that, kids aged between 4 and 12 years old can join their school holiday Kids' Club provides close encounter experiences with Koalas, Crocodiles, Kangaroos, Cassowaries and various native birds. It is a fantastic learning and interactive adventure.

A true wildlife experience!
