Did you know that WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, located in the iconic Darling Harbour, is home to the Aussie Big 5? Yes, this wildlife park is home to not only koalas and kangaroos, but crocodiles, wombats and, can you guess the last of the 5 - platypus!

Iconic Australian species feature in naturalistic walk through habitats can be explored at this very family friendly attraction.

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo offers interactive and educational elements so kids can learn all about these amazing creatures, plus enjoy daily shows and presentations.

Kangaroo Walkabout is the place to go for those bouncing favorites, plus a quokka, wallabies, echidnas and even parrots, AND is the state for the Aussie Animal Encounters.

Deil's Den is home to some adorable Tasmanian Devils, who are critically endangered, offering an invaluable lesson for children about conservation. You might even get to see them enjoy lunch as you watch them play!

Kids always love the enhanced walk through sections where butterflies can fly freely around them. There are also some hand feeding and petting opportunities too!

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo FAQ’s

Cafe on site offering hot and cold snacks and drinks.

You can purchase additional experiences to make your WILD day out even better, from private dining, to koala encounters, breakfast with the koalas, and more!

They provide students with a hands on and up close opportunity to discover and interact with the animals in a intimate environment.

Your visit will be fully guided by one of their zoo educators stopping along the way to answer questions and enhance students experience. You can also request one of the new animal encounters or add a lesson focus to meet curriculum needs. Their WILD Tour Program, conducted by their qualified zoo educators is linked to the Australian Curriculum.

They are fully wheelchair accessible with extensive wheelchair facilities throughout the attraction, including lifts and shallow ramped walkways. Wheelchairs are available for free hire from guest services on arrival.

Last admissions are 1 hour before the closing time, and they suggest allow at least 90 minutes to walk through everything
