That Queensland sun can get pretty hot, so we think you need a place to cool down! Wetside Water Education Park is not just any ordinary water park. Nope! In fact, kids can play around and make a splash in the many water features, whilst learning all about water and it's sustainable use at the same time. Pretty cool!
They call it "infotainment", and it's not just a cool place to visit - it's also eco-friendly AND it's FREE! What more could you want!
Wetside Water Park also features a special area for those water babies under 5 years, so they have their own kiddie sized splashes to enjoy. If you want a bit of a thrill, head on over to the Flipside BoardRiver wave machine. Here, it's just like being in the ocean, but instead you are in the comfort and safety of the park.
You might just spot a sea creature though - but it's made of fibreglass! There is a sculpture made by a local artist, and it's the centre piece of TotSide!. The floor it's surrounded by is also brightly coloured, which makes for great fun. Want to know something even better - those are actually hundreds of gentle jets! These spring out of the floor like a water hedge, and appear in different areas at different times, so you better watch out!
Water fun, eco-friendly, learning, and lots of cool water activities? Sounds like a pretty awesome place to visit with the family - so get those cossies on and let's make that SPLASH!

As you walk around the timber boardwalks of WetSide Water Education Park you will literally encounter hundreds of water messages! They're easy to read and designed in a 'drip-feed' fashion. In fact learning about water at WetSide is a bit like osmosis. You'll absorb information without having to put in much effort at all! It's really worth pointing them out to the kids if you can catch them!
They love having students, and you can rent out the park so why not take them along for a day in the water!
Make sure you take plenty of bottled water!
Give them a call and speak to staff if you have any questions about accessibility!
Make sure you bring plenty of sun protection, no pets are allowed, and kids under 12 years have to be accompanied by someone over 18
