What is there to do?

Choo Choo! Grab those conductor hats, kids, because it's time to take a scenic train trip! But this isn't any ordinary train. Nope! Here, we're going back in time to ride on the Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway!

Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway gives families an authentic steam train experience, ideal for the whole family. Here, you take your trip through history on a 1.5km narrow gauge railway, which was actually re-built on sections of the former Victorian Railways branch line, all the way from Red Cliffs to Morkalla.

The highlight of your family day out certainly is the Kerr Stuart steam locomotive "Lukee", which was built all the way back in 1901! Since being restored, it now can be shared with train loving families just like yours.

Want to hear a cool fact? The Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway is actually the ONLY tourist steam train in the area, and is one of only a small few gauge railways in the entire country! how amazing is that!

The Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway operates on the first Sunday of each month, except Jan & Feb. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and takes you through some pretty amazing countryside, and even vineyards too!

Choo Choo....all aboard! History and family fun is about to start, so make sure you're all safely in the steam train carriages, because we're about to depart!

How much does it cost?

Adults: $8

Children: $4

Family Deals: $20 for a family
