What is there to do?

Kids - do you know what Kaya Wanju means? Well, it's hello and welcome! Thanks to Poornarti Aboriginal Tours, you can learn that and so much more on these very special experiences in Western Australia.

Run by Joey and Catherine, Poornarti Aboriginal Tours give kids and parents an invaluable learning experience about culture, geography, traditions, and Mother Earth.

The South West of WA is the country of the Noongar people. Did you know that for thousands of years even before European settlement, these Aboriginal people lived in harmony with the land. They call the earth their "Boodja" - their mother, and the connection is astounding.

Poornarti Aboriginal Tours bring not only the culture and traditions of the Noongar to life, but also the land. You can take part in deeply immersive and intimate experiences. Through interactive activities you can gain a real sense of what the culture and land is about.

You get to reconnect to the essence of the country - as well as yourselves! Through the tours you can travel and camp with the team, and learn stories of the ancient culture.

You can listen to stories of the Dreamtime, dance on the earth, embrace the elements, tuck into delicious food by the fire, and really learn the Noongar ways of spirit, life and art.

There are three tours to choose from, as well as customised tours to suit your needs.  You can take part in a day tour, a healing and water tour, or a camp tour.

Each one gives you an amazingly different and eye opening experience, and one that the kids won't be forgetting in a very long time!

So why not take the family to enjoy a different family day out - one that will open their eyes and their minds, and give them the experience of a lifetime!
