Noosa National Park is a haven for wildlife and the perfect place to explore the Great Forest with kids. It's home to koalas, kangaroos and over 100 other different species of native animals. You can also hike along one of the five walking tracks or take a stroll through the eucalyptus forest on an easy stroll. Your kids will love pretending they are lost in the wilderness, build their own tree house or capture photos of koalas hiding in the hollow trees.
The best way to explore the park is by hiking one of the many walking tracks. Your kids will love being one with nature and seeing wildlife in their natural habitat. Our favorite hikes for kids are the Noosa National Park Discovery Walk, this is a family-friendly walk suitable for all ages and abilities. It's a 1.5-kilometre walk through the rainforest, along the Noosa River and next to a mangrove estuary.
Walk to Widden Beach, this is a three-kilometre walk that follows the sandy beach and is a great way to spend the day with your family.
The Noosa River Walk is a five-kilometre walk along the river that is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is a good option for when it is hot as the river is shaded by trees.
