Sydney has many icons, and one of them (especially one that's in the hearts of so many people who live there) is the ever fun Luna Park - who hasn't wanted to walk throught that famous mouth!?

Luna Park is an incredibly restored 1930's amusement park where families of all ages can go and just have a great time! And what better location that to enjoy a family day out than with incredible views of Sydney Harbour!

The entry is free, so every family can enjoy the rides and games, as well as the vibrant atmosphere that blankets the whole park.

The rides vary from the thrilling roller coasters to the super kid friendly carousels. so there really is something for everyone. Those thrill seekers will love The Wild Mouse, which gives you 61 seconds of heart-stopping, pulse-pounding fun as you dip and zip out over Sydney's waters!

Thre is also the Tumble Bug. Sounds innocent, butthis ride will fling you up and down, side to side, around and around, and up and over! Be prepared!

The calm and scenic ferris wheel is great for the whole family, and gives you even more spectacular views of the harbour!

Rides like the the colorful Magic Castle and the Whirly Wheel, which is perfect for those little ones who want the ferris wheel experience but might be too scared to go on the big one!

The park still have their original classic sideshow games, where you can win a heap of really great prizes, and the wonderfully restored Coney Island is an old school favourites with the Mirror Maze and Barrels of Fun!

Luna Park FAQ’s

First and most important - carnival treats! Indulge in fairy floss, Pluto Pups, Luna Sticks and a host of other yummy treats!

In addition to those carnival classics, you can sit down and relax with bistro-style food and drinks at Fish and Sips near Coney Island, or there is the Lighthouse Cafe for burgers and hot dogs.

Ice cream parlours also line the park, so you certainly won't go hungry! (Just be careful what you eat before going on those super twisty fast rides!)

You can also bring your own picnic lunch! There are plenty of grassy spots nearby the park to enjoy it (including under the Harbour Bridge!)

Luna Park can host your birthday party! They offer incredible views of the harbour, and My Clubhouse is a popular party venue.

Many of the rides that generate strong forces or have certain safety requirements limit there use by people with certain disabilities. The promenades and venues, however, are wheelchair accessible. Service animals are welcome.

Somes rides have height requirements so check before you start queueing! Some rides require footwear
