About this activity

At The Koala Conservation Reserve, you can discover Australian wildlife in its natural surroundings or take a walk through the woodlands to see abundant birdlife, wallabies, and echidnas. Take a walk along tree-top boardwalks to see koalas up close in their natural habitat.

Tree top boardwalks and other viewing techniques get your family close to the indiginous koalas as they lurk around their natural habitat. There are also wild wallabies, echidnas and bats around to spot.

There are a variety of family-friendly activities and experiences to be had at the Koala Conservation Reserve, where you can explore lush native bush and encounter iconic Australian animals.

The new visitor centre had educational but fun interactives to teach about the species, and there are six hectares of bushland to explore with waymarked, hard surfaced trails suitable for wheel and push chairs.
