Who is ready to spend their next family day out on ice? We certainly are, and Hunter Ice Skating Stadium want to help! Ice skating is a great way for the family to enjoy some time together. It's an activity that will keep you fit and healthy, kids can learn new skills, they can grow in confidence and they might even make new friends!

The public skating sessions are great for all abilities, so no matter if you have never set foot on the ice before, or want to show off those spins like a pro, it's the place for you!

Keep an eye out for some of the themed sessions too, including Kids and Family Discos! Pretty cool fun. If anyone in the family wants to learn more of the basic techniques, Hunter Ice Skating Stadium also offer lessons, where you can really start to improve on what you can do.

Also offered at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium is the chance for you to try your hand at ice hockey too. It's sometimes fun to change it up!

Hunter Ice Skating Stadium FAQ’s

There is a cafe where you can pick up snacks and drinks to re-fuel before getting back on the ice! No outside food or drink permitted

It's a good idea to take some socks just in case you need extra padding for the skates

You can take a wheelchair out onto the ice as long as someone has control of it. They also offer skating aids for beginners

Non-skating spectators are free!
