About this activity

The Gravity Discovery Centre offers a large number of hands on science and physics discoveries for kids, including a replication of Galileo Galilei's leaning tower experiment up a 45m steel structure.

There is a 1km Solar System Walk made accurately to scale (each footstep is approx. 6 million km) with a family quiz to take along with you and planets, moons and more to discover.

Interactive experiment features include magnetic levitation, ion drive lifter, corkscrew laser, visible sounds and vibration training. Principles accessible for around 5 and up but pre schoolers will still enjoy taking part.

They offer fun educational acitivities that the whole family will want to exploor and discover, both indoor and outdoor! For the older members of your family, there's a cafe which serves great coffee and the gallery features multicultural artworks and photographs.

From the iconic leaning tower, to the solar system walk, observatory and wildflowers, there's so much to see, do and explore for all ages here.
