About this activity

Caversham Wildlife Park now features about 200 species, and more than 2000 head of animals, birds and reptiles; most housed in a walk-through environment. The park is the premiere development of its kind in Western Australia, attracting visitors from all over the world.

They are well-known for their interactive attractions and they encourage you to make the most of your experience at Caversham; all attractions, photo opportunities and animal feed are included in the entry fee (no extra money needed!).

Activities include Farm Shows, Meet The Wombats performances, koala cuddling and kangaroo and farm animal feeding sessions. Visitors to the park are assisted by wildlife professionals, dedicated to exceptional service ensuring visitors receive the best opportunities for animal interaction, information and photographs.

There are also a variety of children’s amusements, including numerous playgrounds, a paddling pool and bouncy castle, Tram and Train Rides, transport heritage centre and vintage bus tour.

Located at - 233 Drumpellier Drive WHITEMAN. There are three entrances into Whiteman Park - Drumpellier Drive (enter at the roundabout), Beechboro Road North (off Hepburn Avenue and Tonkin Hwy) and Dulwich Street (off Marshall Road).

Caversham Wildlife Park FAQ’s

The park is pram and push chair friendly, and has baby change facilities.

Their kiosk offers a wide variety of snacks, including tea and coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, pies & sausage rolls, sandwiches, crisps, chocolate and other nibbles.

They provide a pass out stamp on request for free same day return.

A range of disposable cameras and batteries are available in the Souvenir Shop. If you get caught short, ponchos, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are available too.

A visit to Caversham Wildlife Park is a great way for school students to learn and discover outside their classroom.

There are approx 70 BBQ and picnic areas inside Whiteman Park.

The park is wheelchair friendly, and has disabled toilets.

Entry into the park is not recommended after 4.30pm. To make the most of your experience and enjoy everything on offer, you should allow 3 hours minimum.
