About this activity

Creepy crawlies...scaled critters...reptiles galore...it can only be one place...the Australian Reptile Park!

The park is the hands-on zoo and boasts a ton of animal interaction and exciting wildlife shows where kids can really learn about these fascinating creatures, and get RIGHT up close to them!

They have beautiful birds, sweet mammals, creepy crawly spiders, and friendly amphibians, as well as the...of course...reptiles! (Do you know what the difference between an amphibian and a reptile is? If not - good thing you will be visiting, you can ask!)

The park have popular close encounters with some of the park’s scaly and furry animals during Snappy Hour 11am to 2pm daily, including a walk with Hugo the giant Galapagos tortoise.

We had heard of taking the dog for a walk...but a tortoise!? Crazy!

Elvis, NSW's biggest crocodile, is fed at 1:30pm on weekends and school holidays (now you AND your parents might have seen Elvis live!).  Did you realise crocodiles could get so big?

They hold their spectacular alligator feeding from the banks of their massive ’gator lagoon - see how fast they can SNAP!

The native, exotic reptiles and spiders are safe and ready to be enjoyed in their unique exhibits of The Lost World of Reptiles and Spider World, featuring Tarantula-ville! Eeek!

The park is a great way for kids to learn about all of these creatures, their habits, habitats, and also the impact that humans have on their lives.  The conservation project Devil Ark is a great area for kids to discover how they're helping save the iconic Tasmanian devil.

Witness venomous snake and funnel web spider milking every day (did you know they are milked! Not quite like a cow though...) plus have a photo with a snugly python, wombat or cuddly koala; enjoy the children’s adventure playground and hand feed friendly kangaroos!

Say hi to the tarantulas for us!
