The Aquarium of Western Australia let's you explore the 12,000km of WA coastline, all in just a few hundred metres. You can get close to the icy waters of the southern ocean in the morning, and spend the afternoon with the tropical wonderland of the coral reefs of the north.

Travel beneath 3 million litres of Indian Ocean water as you have a close encounter with 4 metre sharks, huge stingrays, turtles and hundreds of stunning fish.
Face a deadly line up of marine creatures that can sting, bite or wrap their prey with suckered arms to immobilise or even kill! The DANGERzone is an eye-opening exhibit of Western Australia’s most dangerous marine life and is not to be missed.

The cafe has hot drinks, meals and snacks perfect to keep those rumbling tummies filled ready for the next adventure!
If you have bucks to spare consider letting your kids do an Aqua Adventure, from $20. These include snorkelling with sharks, and ocean safaris to whale watch!
The aquarium of course has a gift shop where you can pick up some great educational items as well as gifts and souvenirs!
They have great programs for kids, activity sheets, information for teachers, and fun follow up activities. A great day of learning outside of the classroom!
