Find great things to do with the kids!

Fun things to do in sacramento

Did you know that Sacramento has over 230 days of sunshine every year? Which, by our calculations, means it’s a pretty awesome city to take your family out for some fun!

With that much sun, Sacramento is the ideal city to take advantage of all the outdoor attractions. Fairytale Town is great on those sunny days with it’s animals and rides, Sacramento Zoo is a perfect way to stroll among the gardens and the exotic creatures, and kids will always love cooling off at Raging Waters Sacramento.

Of course, should you want a break from the sun, or happen to need an indoor attraction, the city has plenty of places to visit that would be perfect. There are over 30 museums like the Discovery Museum Science and Space Center and Sacramento Children’s Museum which all cover an incredible range of exhibits, and the family fun adventures like LaserTag of Carmichael and Scandia Family Fun Center where it’s not just the kids that can have a great time!

There is always something going on in Sacramento, and they even have family fun events across the year which always transform the entire town (like when Old Sacramento becomes a Gold Rush Town!).

With everything going on within the city, you forget that Sacramento is actually the ultimate kids fun attraction in itself!
