Want a funtastic adventure with fantastic animals? Why not head to Zootastic Park in North Carolina!
Zootastic Park is not only a place where you can have great experiences, hands-on fun and animal adventures. It's also a place where kids can learn all about the creatures that call the zoo home.
The animals are well cared for, and in comfortable environments, because it's about all the animals just as much as it is about families like YOU that visit!
From mammals, to birds and reptiles, Zootastic Park has creatures from all across the world ready to say hello. Have you ever seen an Arabian Camel up close, or seen a Blackbuck all the way from India?
Have you ever had an emu look you right in the eye, or seen a corn snake curl? Zootastic has them all!
The zoo also have private animal encounters that you can book, to really give you the experience of a lifetime. The giraffe encounter is 60 minutes of cuteness, and the Lemur Encounter lets you hang out with those cute Madagascar mammals!
If you want to really feel what it's like to work at Zootastic Zoo, they offer some "Zookeeper for a Day" experiences where you can learn how to handle reptiles, feed and train baby lion cubs, help feed the animals....just to name a few!
What an experience!

They offer educational sessions where experienced staff will guide your group through different hands-on learning environments. These sessions were developed by a teacher like you to meet NC Standard Course of Study learning strands in Math, Science and Social Studies..

Why not have your birthday party at the zoo? There are party packages available, and perfect for a group of minimum 8 people. .

Zootastic Park is a working zoo that strives to ensure the greatest care for its animals. Zootastic Park has adopted neglected animals to rehabilitate them to health. Zootastic Park will be working with some animals that are headed towards extinction to help preserve their species..

If you have special needs, just speak to staff when you arrive and they can help you with accessibility .
Can I get one of those?
From souvenirs, shirts, hats, treats, book, music, and even African art objects, the Gift Shop store has a host of gifts that you can take hom.
During March and April, the zoo is only open weekends and just for private encounters and school/group tours. So just call to see if you can arrange. .

Seems like animals are not well taken care of. Many animals had broken horns. All of their areas seem very small and dirty. animals in the building in very small cages, baby tiger cage burned your eyes with urine stench, poor guy. sad to see
