Well, at least there is a zoo in Montana. My husband was born and raised in Montana and told me that there was no zoo. (He doesn't currently live in Montana now). I went online and found you. You have a pretty nice website. We will be in Montana for Thanksgiving week and I was looking for something for the kids to do while here but we will be no where in Montana near to your zoo. :( Best wishes on the changes. Our zoo, the Oklahoma City Zoo, did many changes and it paid off greatly for us all. They now have a wonderful zoo. I am sure you will too...Read More

A friend had a wedding there and from the point of her signing the contract to the actual wedding day they tried to change the criteria three times. They did succeed moving the marquee to a different place than the area showed to the bride when toured the facility. The new field position is littered with pot holes and over grown on the outskirts of the zoo.
The 2 staff looking (one being president of the board at the zoo) 'overlooking' the reception for 'security reasons' were ignorant and rude. When we asked a couple of questions we were...Read More

I don't know what this zoo was like years ago, but it is AWESOME now. The habitats are realistic, the animals are well cared for, the staff are friendly and well-informed, and the layout is beautiful. Come with a couple hours to spare and walk the whole perimeter to enjoy a fantastic zoo experience!

Sorry but time for an honest review. This is the absolute worst Zoo we have ever been to. We spent a total of 30 mins here and that was even to long. The grounds were terrible, weeds and long grass every where. Animals looked like they were very unhappy to say the least. In a word, Horrible!

Great for a family outing; Love the gardens and the playground; gift shop could have had a little more souvenirs but the things they had were reasonable priced

The 2 staff looking (one being president of the board at the zoo) 'overlooking' the reception for 'security reasons' were ignorant and rude. When we asked a couple of questions we were met with a cold sour response from the zoo president ,claiming she is not paid to do this and we shouldn't ask her questions.

I'm sure there are more suitable and accommodating places that would welcome your custom rather than going to ZooMontana.
