I just spent the weekend in Seneca Rocks, WV and stayed at the motel. Very convenient, we had two rooms, both were were clean and comfortable. I really appreciate being able to find a place that accepts pets as I have two black labs and no baby sitter, where I go, they go. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced place to stay, this is it. Bonuses – refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker provided. Also located next door is a restaurant that serves up a good breakfast. This definitely works for me. I wished I would have checked out their cabin options across the road…next time maybe.Owners are nice people – you should see the collection of gas pumps, and signs from long ago, the “Pickers” would be jealous!

A very good place to stay near Seneca Rocks. Inexpensive. I rented a room in the motel for the night. The owners are very relaxed and keep the place clean and friendly. Nice, practical room layout and solid, rustic furnishings. Included a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker. Large round table in the back of the room was useful and a picnic table out front. The hotel was a little close to the highway, so the occasional noise was a trifle annoying but it didn’t bother my sleep. Neat collection of old gas station pumps and signs neatly kept around the property.

We rented the entire lodge for the weekend while one couple from our group got a honeymoon cabin. The lodge and cabin was both well equipped with most everything we could need- kitchen utensils, a washer and dryer with some detergent, plenty of towels and wash rags, dish rags with dish detergent, bedding, and air conditioning. The cleanliness in the lodge was less than expected with dust built up on top of kitchen cabinets and most kitchen utensils needed washed before use (the cabin, however, was very clean). After a day’s use with about 12 people, the outside hot tub (lodge) could not be used for the rest of the weekend (I wished they would have came by to refill or clean it). No cell service in the area and a land line was not provided. Paid for Wi-Fi ($9.99) but you were kicked off every 10 minutes or so and had to log back in. One bed was completely unusable (it was simply a hospital bed with cinder blocks). All other beds in the lodge and cabin were fine. The lodge has many antiques from simple wall décor to old fashioned ringer washers and many other items from “the good ol’ days”- great conversation pieces. Volleyball/badminton net was in the large yard area. Plenty of space for everyone in our large group inside and out. Overall good stay, but the lodge could use a few improvements.

Quaint little spot. Our cabin had everything we needed,.w/d, sink, oven, satellite tv. My only complaint is that we didn’t have a room phone and there isn’t cell service…while they did encourage us to call if we had issues, wed have to drive about 6 miles to maybe get reception. My other complaint is that our cabin had only the hot tub, no shower. Service was super friendly, simple charm.
