Where are we going today?

We are Montana's premier art museum, a reputation we maintain through a combination of honoring Montana's most forward-looking artists and bringing here to Montana historic and world art significant for our region. Our permanent collection includes the finest work by Montana's early Modernists, the important Poindexter Collection of Abstract Expressionism, and the Virginia Snook Collection of Will James's illustrations.

    It was much better before the high priced remodel. It now caters to tourists looking for Hollywood Cowboy and Indian fakery. It is a private party space for board members and locals with money. They are narrow and timid. Nothing new, ever. The public isn't welcome to just walk in.

    Great interesting museum on the beautiful rimrock headlands. Building collections range rider monument train. All they need is a antique plane cause Charles Limburgh learned to fly here. Worth visiting this classic.

    I love to hang out here with my kids after school. Its so fun to explore and look for nee details on hidden places
