Directions

Wolf Lodge Campground is located just eight miles east of Coeur d’Alene on I-90. Take exit 22, on the North side of I-90 go east 1.5 miles where you will find the campground!

Where are we going today?

Wolf Lodge Campground have done their best to make their park as family friendly, and as relaxing for you as possible!

They are located just east of the very beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene in Northern Idaho, and the lovely staff will do their best to make your stay as lovely as possible!

The camp is surrounded by mountains in a wooded setting, and their RV sites are shaded as well as ensuring there are grassy areas for you to relax, read or enjoy dinner!

If you don't have an RV, and prefer the more rustic approach with a tent, they have grassy tent sites, with many right by the creek!  What a way to wake up in a morning!

Of course, if you're neither an RV'ing family or a camping family, you can stay in one of their five unique rustic cabins, with each one having something slightly different.

The park want you to have a great time, and so even offer complimentary activities for the whole family!  Canoe or three wheeled bikes are available to rent - so why not spend some time out on that river!

Kids will love the grassy playground, and every evening you can enjoy their nightly group campfires and roast you some s'mores!  Please sir....I'd like some s'mores!

Enjoy volleyball, badminton, and shuffleboard, or get out and feed the fish in the creek - how high do you think they will jump for that bread you have!? Only one way to find out!

There is a camp store where you can pick up sodas, snacks, supplies, firewood and ice (but no tobacco or alcohol), as well as free wifi.

Look out for the moose, too!

Facilities on site

Satellites receives well at each RV site, but no cable is available. They do have free wifi, and a coin operated laundry. They have a camp store, restrooms and showers, private campfires at the tent sites (but not at the RV sites), a covered pavilion, laundry room, playground, and even complimentary morning coffee! That's what we like to hear!

When can we go?

May 15th to October 1st

I'm Hungry!

The nearest restaurant is only about 1/4 mile west of the park. It is a very juicy steak house that only serves dinner. There are a host of other restaurants within a 10 - 15 minute drive of the park..

Any Top Tips?

If you rent a cabin you will need to provide your own bedding. .

We called to check on a reservation and the lady who answered was SO RUDE! We know it is the 4th of July weekend and you're busy but that is no excuse for poor customer service. If you don't want to deal with people then you're in the wrong business regardless of the time of year. Avoid.

The noise here is like sleeping on the side of a major highway... which is basically true. It is constant because the highway is an interstate. every night there have been many kids here. Different ones on bikes. Trikes. Skate boards. You name it. Lots of running around! Kids are okay but we generally try to avoid them. If I had them I would not let go in the lagoon type water here!!!

Noise is high because it's next to the freeway. Our site had a hornets nest in it. They didn't like that we were pounding tent stakes. Staff was nice enough to spray them out and apologized profusely.

Staff were very friendly. Noise of traffic not terrific, but stars are worth it.

Our site was very difficult to get in to, but if my husband watches me I can get him parked anyplace! The grass is nice but the roads could use some more gravel.

We stayed here in a 40 ft quad slide motorhome.
