Horrible experience. Park security are rude and invade your privacy in the middle of the night. Will never go there again!

$17 I paid to park my car and go for a hike. Not worth it in my opinion. Will not be back.

Its a very basic campground, on the setting of a river valley, which is rapidly being surrounded by urban sprawl. Its not a true escape into the wilderness, you won't even get a good view of the stars due to the light effect from the city.

What you will get, is a well tendered campground with large sites that are mostly private; you'll get some decent walking trails of basic/beginner quality; and you'll get a very quick escape from the city.

I camped with my family and friend's family over there for the week end. Our plan was to visit Toronto on Saturday and the African Lion Safari on Sunday and then drive back to Michigan. The sites are very private but not much trees. We had to drive every time we wanted to use the bathroom. If it was not the location between Toronto and Hamilton, I wouldnot have camped there.

Good for families looking for a quick night or two away from home, especially with young kids. Good for people driving through southern ontario, and looking for a quick stop. And good for people just wanting to get away from the city, slow down, and enjoy a relaxing few days in a wilderness setting.

PS You'll hear coyotes and owls, and you'll see deer and eagles along with lots of smaller wild life.
