Things to do for Active Kids
Wild Blue Ropes Charleston
Where are we going today?
Unleash your inner Tarzan at Wild Blue Ropes in South Carolina - the adventure that takes you 35ft off the ground!
For those active kids over 4 years, Wild Blue Ropes offers you a day of challenges, excitement, trepidation, and achievement!
Climbing, and moving your way from tree to tree, the aerial course is a great way for kids to learn new skills, improve balance, and improve self esteem...especially when they complete the courses successfully!
The aerial course at Wild Blue Ropes is as safe as they come, with their vast system of smart belay elements, with 3 levels of difficulty. This is perfect for kids as they can start at the lowest level, and work their way up if they complete the current course, and are comfortable trying something a little harder.
We know they can do it!
The younger kids don't have to miss out either. The Explorer's Gateway course has seven elements for those younger guests. It's just like a giant jungle gym up in the air! It's easy to navigate, climb, and balance, and at only 15ft off the ground, it's kiddie sized fun!
For the adults, your inner child will come out when you realize there is nothing wrong with swinging between the trees!
So why not have a family adventure up in the trees on your next family day out. Unleash the Tarzan in you!

We had a wonderful time at Wild Blue Ropes on Friday - a great way to get outside and have some family time during our Thanksgiving break. All of the employees were great with our kids (4 and 6) - Marcus was especially skilled at getting my 4-year-old to overcome some hesitation her first time around. Before we knew it she was flying through the course without any help. Both kids were proud of themselves and are looking forward to returning to tackle the higher course. It's so nice to have something outdoors, physical and incredibly family-friendly....Read More

Great experience today with our homeschool group. I also wanted to make sure I took a minute to give an extra special thank you to Marcus. He helped my 3 year old through the entire course. I was so impressed that instead of a "rescue" he encouraged her and helped her reach her goal. Even though she cried the whole way through she was so, so proud of herself! All the staff was wonderful with the kids. Great way to build a kids confidence and self-esteem! Can't wait to go back!

Visited Wild Blue Ropes for a corporate team building exercise. Unlike so many other supposed team building activities, this outing did a great job of actually forcing people out of their comfort zones. The course offers challenges for people of all abilities and opportunities for people to pair up and see each other through challenging obstacles. In addition to the physical course, they provided an instructor who provided the right level of frustrating ancillary activities.
Overall a really great experience.

What a great time! Everyone was beyond accommodating! From the sweet girl at the counter to Gary the owner to Katie, who was very helpful and cute! They even let us borrow their GoPro headband to record our climbing! Made for a great start to my bachelor weekend! We will definitely come back!
