About this activity

Ever wanted to know what a turn of the century dairy farm would be like? It's your lucky day! Wheeler Historic Farm is just that!

This fun family attraction represents the rural lifestyle that would have been experienced in Salt Lake County from 1980 - 1920. Kids will be taken back in time with the historic demonstrations and exhibits, and they can discover that old time farm lifestyle what was once common for most families - quite different to how you live now we imagine!

There is so much to do for kids at Wheeler Historic Farm! It's a farm, so of course there are animals! From sweet pigs, quacking ducks to happy horses, kids can experience these sweet animals. But remember, this is still a working farm so it's not like a regular petting zoo, so make sure you don't try and feed them otherwise they may think your finger is a carrot!

Hop aboard! It's only Wagon Rides - so sit back and enjoy the 40 acres of natural landscape are you get pulled through Wheeler Woods! These fun rides that depart on the hour and the half hour are always super popular with kids!

Wheeler Historic Farm is historic, so how about some history!

The Victorian home begun construction in 1896, and was resorted into a museum much later. It's still an amazing museum with over 6000 historic artifacts from the 1890s right up to the 1940s, and for the hour long tour you can find out all about the history of the house and the family that once lived there!

There are 75 acres of landscape around the farm, so feel free to walk, jog or ride around the trails. Great family farm fun!
