Water Wizz East Wareham
Where are we going today?
There are some pretty impressive water parks in the USA, but did you know that the LARGEST park in Southern New England is Water Wizz!
Located in Massachusetts, this family friendly water park has a host of very fun water attractions which are perfect for all ages...and some for the very brave!
Ever wanted to try bouncing in the waves of the ocean, but not quite sure you want to get into that huge expanse of water? Don't worry, because at Water Wizz, Muscle Beach has it's very own wave pool, where waves reach up to 3.5 feet, in six different patterns! You can surf them, jump them, and even ride them. Great fun for swimmers of all ages and experiences!
Do you have little water babies in the family? Then just check out the Little Neck Beach, where pink frogs, floating alligtors (not real ones, don't worry!), and silly pelicans are all waiting to give the kids a super fun time, in water perfect for them. At only 18" deep, it's a great place for kids under 7 to enjoy the experience of a water park without having to compete with the bigger kids.
BUT...if you are one of those BRAVE ones in the family, then you might want to experience Squid Row, where two daring tube rides, curve and drop you until you get to the pool at the bottom! Still feeling brave? Then head on over to Pirates Plunge where it will feel like you're walking the plank, then dropping off into space on this very fun flume!
From high thrills, to moderate thrills and attractions great for the whole family, Water Wizz certainly lives up to it's name as Southern New England's LARGEST water park...thrills, spills and fun all rolled into one!
Make a SPLASH this summer!

They LOVE having groups on weekdays, so why not take advantage of the discounts and bring the students along for some water fun!.
Those tummies won't be rumbling for long, with burgers, chicken, nachos, wraps, fries, ice creams...you name it! There is something for everyone!.
You are more than welcome to bring you own food and drink into the park (just no glass or knives). Enjoy a picnic! Otherwise the Bait Shop sell wraps and salads.
Any Top Tips?
Kids love getting creative with the Tattoo Tiki Hut, with temporary tattoos! Enjoy the day with a butterfly or a heart...or whatever takes your fancy!.
Doing our bit
Safety is first, so a number of the attractions have height restrictions. Make sure you follow them! Kids under 48" must all wear a life jacket too .
Need a little extra help?
If you have special needs, just speak to the manager when you arrive to see how they can help. You can also arrive through the employee entrance .
Can I get one of those?
If you want to indulge a little bit, or have your own privacy, you can hire your own cabanas for a full day. There are also shops where you can pick up swimming related items.
It's worth noting that the park ins't peanut free. .

We had a great time during our first family visit to this water park. We were able to find things to keep both of our boys interested, most of which we could all do together. On the plus side, the staff was really great. They seemed attentive and aware of what they were doing without overdoing it. Another thing we liked was the layout. We were able to keep our family close together even though our youngest couldn't do all the rides. There was almost always a kiddie section nearby so we wouldn't have to go our separate ways all day. 'Water Wizz' is a great waterpark. All of the water rides are fun as hell, the wave pool is excellent, you don't have to walk that much, the lazy river is totally worth it, the staff are really nice & all of this makes this waterpark a masterpiece.

The cabana rental ($30.00) was well worth it. Having shade and our own area was really nice. Our biggest negative was the unavailability of tubes for the rides. You know that the lines are long at water parks. That is just a fact and we can live with that, but when you have to wait in line for 20-30 minutes just to get a tube so you can go wait in another long line to go on the ride, it can get really frustrating. The park does offer tube rentals but once you've rented your tube, you have to guard it like a mother zebra in the middle of a pack of lions. My wife went on a ride with my older son while I stayed with the tubes and our little guy. I took a few steps away from the tubes to be closer to my son as he was getting on the slide and some kids swooped in and tried to walk off with my tubes. They were younger kids and I don't think they meant to "steal" them, it was more like they just wanted a tube so they could go on the ride. My point is, there should be enough tubes on hand for people to enjoy their day without the stress of renting tubes and being responsible for them all day so you can get get half of your deposit back at the end of the day. So, overall it was great. Fix the tube situation and it would be fantastic.
