Time consuming, great exhibits, fun for any age, plan to spend about 2-3 hours minimum if you tour the whole property. Should offer discounts to more than just military!! Firefighters and police officers serve and protect also.

I went this past weekend while my daughter and I were in Virginia Beach. I really wasn't impressed, to say the least. It was extremely crowded, more crowded than I anticipated, and that made it difficult to enjoy the displays. Small and expensive. pales in comparison to Tennessee and Georgia aquariums and no real food. I was looking to spend a few hours here on vacation and it didn't happen, just not enough to do or see.

For the money, I believe it would be a good value if it weren't crowded and you were able to take the time to enjoy the displays.
