Universal Studios Singapore wasn’t really a great experience especially for parents with special kids.
We went there Nov 23 and most of the lines were long. We had one experience wherein my son cried so hard for half an hour because he didn’t understand why he couldn’t approach the Minions. It was past 10am and we were told to come back 12:30pm. We had a difficult time trying to calm my son and by 12:40 we went back to see the Minions. When we got there, my wife was told to come back again at 2:30pm. This time she pleaded with the attended...Read More

Hi. I went to USS last Friday on the 31st of Oct for the Halloween Horror. I spent an additional $70 just to get the express pass so that I would be able to cut the long queues. Definitely I enjoyed myself but I was very upset when I was refused by one of your staff to queue in the express queue for the canopy ride. It was stated in the ticket that my friends and I were eligible for the ride so why were we refused of express entry? I was told to wait 90 mins for that ride. What is the point is buying the express pass then?

    Secondly, the characters...Read More

This is one place you really need to spend a day or two to really walk the streets to experience the performances, rides and also do yourself a favor by a walk-in to all thematic retail stores to buy yourself a souvenirs or for your loved ones. If you are Singaporean, get season pass with priority queue. You wouldn't be rushing and queuing for hours under the hot weather. For visitors from friendly countries, purchase priority queue would give you the flexibility to enjoy your day with less queuing time and do eat those cute Elmo cupcakes if you...Read More

Great day out. Battlestar ride was closed and does not seem to be opening again. Apart from that my visit was well worth it. Highly recommend for first time visitors.

My wife was upset but she went back to the attendant and asked for a supervisor…that’s when the attendant considered the situation and gave my son the last slot to hug the Minions. Honestly, I think they should have a different queue for persons with disability or kids with special needs. You would expect that a place like this would show awareness and sensitivity to PWDs or special kids but it truly lacked any feeling. I hope that people from USS would take this review seriously as I know we’re not the only ones who experienced this.

Secondly, the characters at the walk way. I am sure the reason they are there is to add up to the atmosphere, frighten us AND TAKE PICTURES WITH US! We had to practically bug the characters to take pictures. Some even walked away in the middle of the picture and some just ignored us. I am very disappointed with that part of my experience and I really feel that paying soo much money for such an experience was not worth.

I hope you guys will actually get back to me as we spent quite a bit in USS that night. All 3 of my friends and me are extremely upset. It was our first Halloween and we wouldn't want to make it our last at USS.

Please do reply to my questions as i really want to know what was up with the denial of express entry and the character's attitude.
