Are you ready for that good old-fashioned farm fun that kids just love? Great...because we're off to Underwood Family Farms Moorpark!
This charming farm is always popular with families, because there is just so many activities to keep you entertained!
How about we start with the farm market? It's fresh fruit and vegetables galore, as well as other great (and FRESH!) farm produce. Grab something for dinner...didn't the kids say they were cooking? Great work kids!
If you want to introduce the kids to where food comes from, the "pick your own produce" is a great idea. There are a number of pull wagons that will assist you, and the crop calendar will show you what goodies are currently in season. Roll those sleeves up kids!
Underwood Family Farms Moorpark also have a very cute animal center. Kids can have animal interactions, as well as learn all about them. They can climb the haystack, play in the sandbox, and then of course see all those adorable farm animals - from sheep, donkeys, goats, to birds and rabbits. Gold star for whoever spots the emus and alpacas first!
For those little ones, they can experience real live pony rides as they are led around the ring. They don't have to miss out just because they are little!
With animal shows, trains, and animal feed to HAND FEED those domestic creatures, there is SO much fun to be had!
We haven't even started on those events across the year, including the always popular Fall Festival and Easter celebrations.
So saddle up kids, it's farm time!
