We LOVE a good park at Family Days Out, but we love it even more when a park has super fun activities - including vintage rides!
Tuscora Park in Ohio is the ultimate family park. Did you know that they have a total of eight vintage amusement rides? That's a lot of family fun to be had!
The classic carousel has actually been around in the park since 1941. The carousel itself was actually built in 1928 and is one of the only few all-wooden carousels that remain in the entire world.
Another classic attraction at Tuscora Park is the Ferris Wheel! These iconic experiences give you some pretty awesome views over the entire park, and is a nice and gentle experience for the whole family. You might need the rest if you have just been on the rollercoaster!
Don't worry, it's not a huge twisty and turning coaster. In fact, it's perfect for those little ones who want some coaster thrills of their own. Parents - there's a great spot for you to take pictures too as they come around the bed!
Tuscora Park also has a fun train that circles the miniature golf course (yep - there's mini golf!), or if planes are your thing then you can jump on in a handmade aircraft that will send you in a spin!
Dune Buggies, fighter jets and even swings are there to enjoy enjoyed.
If you have some future baseball champions in the family, they can test their skills on the batting cages, and the park even has tennis courts, bocce courts and basketball courts all ready and waiting!
Did we mention there are THREE pools just for you! Time to make a SPLASH at Tuscora Park!
Whether you take part in activities like swimming and tennis, have kids that love amusement rides, or want to enjoy an old-fashioned evening band concert, Tuscora Park has a state-wide reputation as an affordable place to come for family entertainment.
Facilities include three pools, year-round picnic pavilion and outdoor shelters, vintage amusement rides, miniature golf, and much more, surrounded by the beautiful green hillsides and shade trees.
Attractions within the park are largely pay and play, but some are free, like the playgrounds, duck pond, and sports courts.
