Where are we going today?

Active kids over 3 years will LOVE the adventures waiting for them at Traxx Indoor Racing!

Grab those helmets, take to the wheel, and put the pedal to the floor at this super fun indoor racing center in Washington State.

There are a number of great options to choose from, so you can imagine yourself as that new F1 champion in no time!

For those little ones aged 3 to 10 years, Traxx Indoor Racing has specially-designed karts, that are safe and suitable for pint sized adventures.

Here these pint sized drivers can make their way around a heavily padded L shaped course, with only 4 turns. The electric karts make it easier, and safer, for them to try and get across that finish line.

Racers aged 6 to 10 years can enjoy a track designed for THEIR age group! Vroom Vroom! These gas karts are slightly more of a challenge, but they still can enjoy the safety of the heavily padded track with only 4 turns.

It's a great way for kids to learn about hand/eye coordination, and there is nothing wrong with a little bit of friendly competition! After each round you can find out your time, so you can even compete against yourself and try and beat that personal best. Kids confidence will go up as they keep seeing themselves improve with each round!

If driving wasn't enough, Traxx Indoor Racing also has a host of other fun activities for the kiddies!

The Velcro Wall is great for strike your best "pose", and kids can climb to great heights on the 24ft climbing wall. There are 5 different paths to the top, so you can start with the easiest, and make your way to the most difficult!

With a bouncy house too, the fun seems never-ending at Traxx!

The question is - what do you do first!?

The events are from last night.

we headed to Traxx to meet up with our extended
family that lives in MountLake Terrace. It was a date we set couple of
    months ago.

It was my wife and I, my cousin and the three we were meeting
there. In their lobby they have a punching machine. It only takes
Dollar bills not quarters. Not knowing this we had changed a $20 bill
to play with quarters. Walking to the machine noticing it does not take
quarters we walked to the front counter to change it back in bills.

When Traxx first started they had a pretty good setup. As the years have progressed they have gone downhill . It is obvious that they are running a "Slum Lord" type operation, where all of the money was invested up front to get the business going, and then nothing has been invested since then for upkeep. It has gotten to the point where even safety has taken a backseat. Many of the helmets are broken and in disrepair. Driving suits and gloves look like they haven't been washed in years. This place is a lot of fun. Especially if you have some competition in mind. For 16 bucks you ride for 10 minutes which is like 20 laps. It seemed a lot longer than that. Also, they track your lap times electronically if you want to compare to buddies or keep for future reference. The only thing is the track is a kind of small but the carts make it a lot of fun because they turn on the dime, have decent speed, but will get loose if you push em too hard into a corner. Enjoy

Within two months of my going both times I drove the kart they have had problems, they are over priced. For two people and two races its $80 that last maybe 30mins! Sad thing is there is no other place in town to go. The employees argue with you about issues that clearly were there fault, and they even pulled over my buddies GF to flirt with her. We would go back again if the management was to get better but it only seems to be getting worse.

we headed to Traxx to meet up with our extended
family that lives in MountLake Terrace.

After waiting 5 min for the guy to make eye contact he said he cannot
help us. He pulled out two 5 dollar bills and said that was the only
cash he had in the building. I started laughing and thought he was
joking. Who would run a business with $10.00 cash when there were 8
people in line. What if they want to pay in cash....
He said he was not joking. OK....! I turned to my left and asked
a lady in line if she could change $5 in quarter to $5 cash .. She
asked me why don't I just use the quarters and I said the game we're
playing does not accept qarters and that I quote " This is retarded they
must not accept money at this place" The guy heard me and said he needs
me to leave right now the building.

I calmed down. I told my wife I am going to make a scene and prepared
my entire family that it was going to get worse. I went to his door and
told him to call the cops that I was not going to stop calling him a Fat
F**K among other things until they got there. So he called the cops.
He didn't even know the phone number there without looking at a business
card to tell the cops. I did my job until they got there. I made sure
that everyone in the building knew what had happened and that his new
name would be known.

Cops Got there. We talked outside they were laughing their ass
off.....They said they get called there a lot. As I was outside people
were walking out and they said they hate that guy.

I left the property waited in the car for everyone else to race. He had
attempted to kick everyone out including my wife and extended family.
They had to lie and say they were not with me....

my wife went to the lady who was in line and asked her what I said to
piss him off. She said nothing negative other than being frustrated with
the situation.

Denise asked to write the owner an apology on my behalf... (HELL NO)
then the guy said he has worked there 4 years and him and the owner are
"tight" and that he's made him tons of money for the owner and that the
owner will back him up.

This should get to the owner and the guy should get fired. He's not
making him a ton of money since he turned away 4 clients since nobody
raced except my cousin and one other person.

Every person that was walking out while the police detained me was
complaining about the guy (obviously regular clients) and that they
thought I went over the top but appreciated standing up to the guy. One
guy in particular said the guy almost didn't even let him race.......

I did my best to teach him a lesson to not provoke situation that could
be out of his control.

One of the karts that I was given to drive did not allow the seat to lock in a safe position. The guy running the race said not to worry as it should cause no problems. Needless to say I demanded another cart. That broken cart was given to another guy, and on the last lap he was rammed into the wall by an overzealous kid. I think the guy injured his ankle, and it was probably a direct result of that seat not locking. Overall this place has become a very unsafe place to race.
